Men Have Called Her Crazy
A very plain depiction of a wealthy, Doc Martin- wearing white woman with BPD. This was very similar to "Girl, Interrupted" but less interesting. While brave for telling her story, Tendler's autobiography was frankly one long rumination that failed to communicate the inner anguish and horror of bpd. The attention to detail in this book was a double-edged sword...at times, impressive, at other times, exhausting. Writing about BPD from a privileged, white POV has been overdone, in my opinion.
