We are excited to announce the opening of submissions for the Best Short Story Award for Spring 2025! This prestigious award seeks to recognize outstanding storytelling in any genre. Whether your story is a gripping thriller, a heartfelt drama, a speculative adventure, or anything in between, we want to read it!
Submission Guidelines:
Length: Stories must be no longer than 4,000 words.
Genre: Open to all genres—there are no limits on style or theme.
Protagonist: We are particularly interested in stories that feature a compelling and unique protagonist. Your main character should be memorable, complex, and evoke strong emotional engagement from the reader.
Important Dates:
Deadline for Submissions: [May 1, 2025]
Winner Announcement: [June 1, 2025]
Prizes:
The winner will receive a cash prize of $100 and receive a PDF of their award!
